2026 Pomona "Winternationals" (40 Viewers)

John Force was not there on Sat. This to me has to be bad news, as he would never miss the Winternationals. Let's hope he is OK.

Brittany and Courtney were there. Courtney in town with the husband since he is racing in the Long Beach GP Indy Car race next weekend

During the race win awards leading up to 1000 on Saturday Brittany accepted John's and said he couldn't be there. I wondered if John is maybe laying a little low this year because in 2027 Nhra is doing the big 50th anniversary for him?

On hold track drying looks like rain on/off until 4 PM could be a Monday race since there is a 7 PM curfew

Current radar (12.30P Pomona time) shows no rain falling and none coming. Just cloudy and rather cool, mid 60s. Unless this morning was a turd floater they should be able to dry it within the next hour. It'll be a tricky track at best. Not sure I'd want to be in the final round of Pro Stock at 6pm as the dew point and the ambient become one and the same.

Another rear end for Schumacher, we are going to be down for awhile.

Did Tony coast on down to the end of the track so as to put that gunk down for 3/4 the length of the entire lane like on Sat? Or, did he actually pull over and stop as a courtesy to everyone involved today - fans and racers alike - as he should have done yesterday? I would think the Champ would know better.

I thought he did pull off to the side

the length of the gear oil trail looks to be quite a bit shorter than yesterday - yes, he did pull over. Very bizarre situation. Until yesterday, I had never seen or heard of a Chrisman rear catastrophically giving up the ghost like the problem with the Strange's last year.

Kalitta’s car spit the spool out of one last year in a race with Langdon, who ran over a centerline block and lost a rear tire…I assumed they run Crisman.

Thanks for the mostly LIVE updates everyone. Bummer that this looks like it will end up finishing up on Monday. ;-(
