2012 Predictions ?

I predict that an Nhra ticket will still be cheaper then a Nascar ticket, and that you will still get a better bang for your buck at an Nhra event.

Top Fuel: Will be as competitive as Funny Car was last year, with at least nine different winners, including Shawn Langdon & Balooshi.

Funny Car: A Funny Car pilot not named Force will debut at a west coast event. ;)

Pro Stock: Jeggie will contend for the title along with the Summit cars, but AJ will win it... :D

PSB: Rhymes with barley.

I never tried Nascar and I just dont ever see myself trying it. No matter what I say I don't want people to misinterpret me. I may be critical of Glendora, but I will support the NHRA forever. It's just like President's, at the end of my day if I like them or not I still support this country.

PS speed secrets go thru Jason Line - if you're lucky enough to have them
you may win some races in '12, otherwise get in line behind jason & greg.
2011 was jason's year and he wanted it; 2012 title back to greg.
their reign of terror is not over yet.

EE will finally rid herself of the runner-up monkey on her back and get that first win. And, much to GA's chagrin, he'll be her first victim by a hole shot.

I unfortunately agree. If he keeps the power advantage and his lights are less unpredictable he will have even more of a lead, but when you are the fastest car almost everytime you take the green your faced with a possible holeshot loss, so he's gonna have to improve on that if his power is amazing. Mike Edwards proved how holeshots could destroy a championship season reguardless if your the best car every race.

100% she has waited way too long. There's only so many rounds you can win on a holeshot. The consistantcy needs to come to the team. I feel like 2012 was almost the 2nd round out broken record.

At least six races with short Pro fields with PM and PSM the only exceptions.

IMO the nitro classes there should be (12) regulars in each class
that make the whole tour (maybe 11 in TF if vandergriff is solo).
shouldn't have too much trouble attracting 4-5 independents per race.

I understand that Vandergriff is on contract for all of it. I believe this is the last year he has with C&J unless they renew.

DSR 3 TF, AJR 2 TF, MLR 2 TF, KM 2 TF, McMillen, Vandergriff, Karamesines stated he may run the full tour, Millican full tour, Torrence full tour, you got Zizzo half schedule about, Litton a handful, as well as Will running about 6-8. That's 13 by my count at every race. I see no issue not having at least 17 cars everywhere. There's plenty I did not name, so I like the way it looks. 2011 was pathetic for fields

Maybe Luigi, Dakin & Farndon. Don't forget the Laganas.

I wonder how many in FC this season.

I'm still sticking with my KJ prediction, but when it comes to Jeggie, he'll return somewhat to his notable form. while everybody goes for performances, he's getting the trophies in the end of the day. Queue up Alan Reinhart talking about Jeggie "quietly going rounds" en route to the winners circle. And in a tough jam, he's "Houdini" all the while he will do this but still come up short in the championship, where KJ gets hot and clinches the title.

gotta think Massey will take it this year. but im sure tony and antron dont want to hear that. they're gonna come out swinging. and the combo of aj and langdon is gonna be very potent.

zippy might go all the way. But cruz might have something to say about that. and if capps comes out early and hits the ground running he might finally do it. and cant count out beckman. hes got the fire in the belly and he came oh so close....if i was him id want to smack Hagan down real quick and keep him out of my way.

hard to see how jason or greg wont be at the top of the heap. but jeg is back. so who know's. and there's this guy named edwards who might put it back together. oh and these two youngster enders and nobile. either one could shake the earth.

its gonna be a great fight to the finish this year. i cant wait;)
