Lets hope that NHRA also mandates "That NO Changes are to be made to the mecahnicals of the Fuel Cars at this time" ( ie; the gearing; the timing; pumps; mags; etc. etc.)

I agree as long as it is only the nitro cars. If it cuts costs as much as they say it will, wouldn't it be great to see 25-30 Top Fuelers trying to qualify?

Lets be honest here, how many of you actually sit farther than 1000 ft from the starting line? I always sit as close to the tree as I can. It would be great if it causes less expense, less track down time for clean up and most important, it makes it alot safer!
