Finals Broadcast Replay (eastern time):
7-10 p.m. Tuesday, June 30 on FS1

Qualifying: Doug Kalitta was the No. 8 qualifier at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals. His best of the four qualifying attempts came during the first session Saturday afternoon when he made a 3.751-second pass at 336.07 mph.

Eliminations: Kalitta defeated Billy Torrence before losing to his teammate, Shawn Langdon, in the second round. Langdon was off the starting line first, but it was a close race before Kalitta’s Mac Tools dragster smoked the tires allowing Langdon to cruise to the finish line.

Unofficial Point Standings: Kalitta leaves Norwalk in second place in the NHRA Top Fuel point standings. He trails Langdon by 150 points and leads third-place Leah Pruett by 129 points.

Kalitta on Norwalk: “With a big weather change coming into race day, the track was a little tricky. We’re going to stick around tomorrow and test to see what we can figure out with this Mac Tools car. My guys are doing a great job with the car; it was just tricky out there. We’ll test tomorrow, get things straight and head out to Sonoma and the western swing and see where we are.”
