I have never been to a track where I can stand both at the starting line and in the traps at the same time... and I don't believe any one sitting at 660 can tell you, without the win lights and the scoreboard who crossed the finish line first. Unless it's a blow-out.

1320? 1000? 660? the girl in the capri's and a red blouse? what bloody difference does it make, first to the finish line wins...

Some are deploying the chutes and then staying on the throttle just a fraction longer trying to keep from chunking the tires. Some times it works and some times it doesn't depending on the track temp. We chunked a new set of tires on every pass at the World Finals. But if they deploy the chutes late then you can expect a visit from an Nhra official.
