Was I the only one not being able to access the site most of the day. Hope the admins didn't have to spend their Saturday off fixing this.

Edit, judging by the last post dates, which are all from yesterday, it must have been a significant issue.

I performed a backend server software update this morning, and it caused some unexpected issues with the site. I spent a good part of my Saturday working to restore everything. We did lose a small amount of data (just a few hours), but nothing significant. I’ll be attempting the update again, so there may be some additional interruptions—fair warning

Thanks Mr. Timm. I've been in IT for over 3 decades and feel you're pain. No matter the update, never a guarantee it goes smoothly.

Thanks for the hard work.

It was me. I just got a new iPhone and was fooling around with it when I brought the whole site down. If the Feds show up at your house Shannon, remember to say “those pictures on my server are AI generated , I never downloaded any goat related media and you can’t prove that’s me in those pictures “… that should work 👍

Maybe it was because of the top ribbon Christmas bell ornaments add-in. lol

i got a lot of stuff done today (er...yesterday)

Shannon, thanks for the work you do on the site. You’re free to finish shopping today, which is well ahead of schedule for us male species.

All upgrades went smooth this morning. ;)

Just curious - think it was a Windows 11 thing? I've been having issues since upgrading and have heard a lot of problems with it online. Seems like the enterprise version is a little better than what individuals have.

This is all backend server software that was updated. I use Rocky Linux . Has nothing to do with windows 10,11.

Good move on your part!

I was just curious having heard so much negative about Win 11.
