WILLIE BRAINERD LOOKING TO STEP UP HIS GAME
Bottom Dollar Racing is on a Roll with Positive Results

SAN ANTONIO, TX (October 5, 2007) – With a tremendous 2007 season coming to an end, Willie Brainerd and his Bottom Dollar Racing team is working diligently to end on a high note. After going through some significant changes, the team is hoping to translate new knowledge into round wins. As the Super Chevy Show rolls into San Antonio Brainerd and team are anxious to see how far they can go.

Just last weekend, Bottom Dollar Racing worked with a new Mike Janis Blower. Racing the Miss Torco Shootout “Throw Down in T-Town”, Brainerd and team proved they made a good decision with the new horsepower plant. Racing consistent in the 1/8 mile, landed Bottom Dollar Racing well in the top half of the field. Additionally the team was able to make it to the semi-final round of competition, showing they finally have the missing piece of the puzzle.

“I think we performed well,” commented Brainerd. “We went out with the Janis blower for the first time, and qualified well and went some rounds last weekend in Tulsa . We struggled a little early in the season, but after a lot of hard work and some new components, we think we are getting things figured out. Although this is the end of the 2007 season, we are already preparing for more national level competition in 2008.”

Brainerd went on to say, “I think this really gives us a little more of a competitive edge for this weekend in San Antonio for the O’Reilly Super Chevy Show. We have worked hard this season to put on the best show we can for our fans. We love racing Super Chevy Show, and hope to perform at the highest standard.”
