BOTTOM DOLLAR RACING READY FOR THE THROW DOWN IN T-TOWN
Willie Brainerd Races Hometown Race

TULSA, OK (September 7, 2007) – Willie Brainerd and Bottom Dollar Racing are racing at home with the Miss Torco Shootout, Throw Down in T-Town at Tulsa Raceway Park this weekend. Although the team will be in a familiar setting, there will be some major changes for the team and car.

“We will be running a new Mike Janis blower,” said Brainerd. “This is a totally new assignment with Janis and a unique JBR Hat. It’s innovative, and doesn’t look like anything we’ve ever had - it’s different, but I like being different. If it makes horsepower, that’s all that matters.”

The new blower and unique hat is not the only thing setting this team apart from their competition. Growing in popularity, the Lenco Drive set-up is becoming more and more successful and Brainerd is hoping he now has the winning combination.

Brainerd went on to comment, “Mike Janis helped in the development and worked together with JBR, so it’s a new hat design. We started the car today in the shop and I can already tell a difference. Our feeling is, if we make the improvements we feel it will, we will be in good shape. We now know we will make additional horsepower. The key is if we can harness our power and control the wheel speed.”

Bottom Dollar Racing is hoping the rain holds off enough for the team to try their new toy. With a renewed sense of excitement with the new blower, Brainerd and team feels they will be a serious contender against successful competitors.
