WILLIE BRAINERD ANXIOUS FOR HOMECOMING RACE
Bottom Dollar Racing Confident for the Clash of the Titans Race in Tulsa

August 9, 2007 (TULSA, OK) – Bottom Dollar Racing, and Willie Brainerd are anxious for a warm homecoming with the upcoming Clash of the Titans race at Tulsa Raceway Park, August 11. Although it has been about a year since Brainerd and team have raced their home Clash race, the team has been busy proving themselves on the National Event level, competing in Super Chevy Show Nitro Coupe.

“ Tulsa Raceway Park is one of the nicest tracks we race on all season,” commented Brainerd. “We have talked to Craig at Coan Converters, Snyder Motorsports, and Jeff Fowler and our experiences have been very positive. We put on a good show in Indianapolis during the Super Chevy Show a few weeks ago, followed by three very good test rounds at Tulsa . We believe we are on our way and we fell we should qualify well this weekend.”

Although Bottom Dollar Racing and Brainerd are well established in the world of Pro Modified Drag Racing, the team has opted for some changed in order to improve their already competitive race program.

According to Brainerd, “We swapped our tires from Goodyear to Hoosier. The first time we ran the new tires was in Indianapolis , and we feel there is just something to them – something the car likes. We’ll race next week in Kansas City for the Super Chevy Show where there is some very tough competition. I really do believe we have crossed the threshold and are now bettered prepared.”

With the entire team ready for the heat and humidity of Tulsa this week, they will continue to keep their eyes focused on a strong stand on the National Level. The next event for Bottom Dollar Racing is the Super Chevy Show in Kansas City , Missouri , August 17 – 19.

Willie Brainerd and Bottom Dollar Racing would like to thank Bottom Dollar Trucking, Aries Pistons, Legends Auto Collision, ATC Freightliners, Mileage Masters and O’Reilly Auto Parts.
