I have no clue how my fellow 'Mater's can support a drag racing icon intentionally throwing a drag race, yet still want me to believe that have a passion for the sport. The greatest drag racer of all-time (in the win column and championships) went up to the line in a head to head match-up and quit. He didn't want to win. There's no defense for that. Is a professional basketball player vindicated for shaving points because he needed the money?
