Will anyone make a full pass at Phoenix ???? (2 Viewers)

should take better than 4.60 to stay in tomorrow
Agree, bump will be 4.20 - 4.30. T/F is an all run with only 15 cars. F/C, the crew chiefs will be slowing the timers and using the hardest clutch discs they have to somewhat drive through the clutch instead of detuning the combination and run the risk of dropping cylinders or having a pooch on their hands. Unfortunately some tuners will still try to rotate the earth and on Sunday will be on the outside looking in. Tomorrow is supposed to be a degree hotter with less wind so Q3 and Q4 will be interesting.

Watching NHRA.TV and the sound keeps going off, again. Maybe they need to have the IHRA people show them how to live stream. I will complain but still pay for it because, what's the choice?
Noticed that in Gainesville too. Didn't notice that being a big problem last year.

I know there were only a handful of full passes in Q2 but I was surprised that most folks were not spinning until about 4-500' I thought a lot more were going to blow the tires off at the step. Overall today was good, Q1 was a pretty good show, very happy for Dylan Winefsky to come out of the box with a 4.21, they broke a throttle cable in Q2 but as long as they stay in the show, they could be in for a good day on Sunday especially since a hot/greasy track plays right into Johnny West's hand. Also Jason Rupert's 4.04 was great to see.

The heat was tough, even for this desert rat. I was starting to feel it pretty hard during that second session. I certainly did not walk around or stick around as long as I normally do. Kudos to Firebird to having a couple areas with misters setup in the pavilion areas to get some shade and cool off for a bit, that was nice.

The PS contingent did well, with most runs in the low 6.60s at around 208-209mph. Pro Mod in Q2 was pretty much a bust, with only Bond and Barnett making representative passes.

Chandler, Saturday March 21: Temp and DA forecast in feet - last updated Friday 11 PM Chandler time. Little or no discernible change from Friday.

It won't matter who spanks who until they face each other in a final round then we are talking more money and points than during E1 - E3.
Yes I know that...My comment was in fun...But.....Thanks for pointing out.....

At least you got to hear Jason Galvin say “no question about it” “no question” and “ no question about that”, a few hundred times.

That as a pretty decent Q3 of Top Fuel today

I also notice that Lynsi Snyder-Ellington is racing her Top Sportsman car in Phoenix this weekend.
