Annual Scotch Tasting Christmas Day... Seeking to outshine last year's Talisker that was the hit of the party :D

Photo posting WILL NOT be allowed... ;) :D

You may want to give Lagavulin a try if you haven't already.

Chivas Regal......seems to have worked well keeping the Greek preserved

Been pretty much about the single malts over the years, MM, but a few of the blends make an appearance on occasion...;)

I'm a Glen Fiddich fan, ever since I watched it being made as an 18 year old... Mmmm...

Didn't know you boys were fans of "Uisge Beatha", which the Scotch drank straight out of the still in the 16th century - probably not a smooth as what you're sampling! Remember what Robert Burns wrote - "Wi Usquaebae, we'll face the Devil", try to be moderate, and have a Merry Christmas! - ;)

Ahh Jim... knew I liked ya! I'm pretty sure there's no still at Reinhart's shop, but the selection (collection?) from prior years is getting to the point where a cabinet may be in order soon... :p

Merry Christmas to you and the family, Mr. Young :)

Martin - There is no doubt that the Scotch invented whiskey. "Uisge" -
pronounced "Oos Key" became "Whiskey".

Fortunately, about 350 years later, a gentleman in Lynchburg Tennessee developed a superior spirit based on Sour Mash and involving a very labor intensive aging process. We'll be sipping several versions and will raise a glass to you, the Big Guy (our favorite announcer), and everyone at Wild West!

Getting the place all spiffed up as we speak,

(That's code for taking an air hose and "cleaning" the top of the workbench)

Anyone in the neighborhood is welcome to stop by,

Alan
