Why the pushing of the TF cars before the burnouts?

I've noticed that the crewmembers of many TF teams are pushing the cars through the waterbox just before the burnout. Is there really any reason for this?

They push them through the water box so the drivers dont have to apply the clutch.

because AJ has been doing it, and it is suppose to reduce the heat in the clutch.

If AJ put a pile of dog $h^t on his injector hat, within 3 races I would guarantee somebody else would be doing it because the baddest car on the planet is doing it.

As said it is easier on clutches,less heat,more consistent wear on the discs,but....it all depends on the set up of the car.
