Robert did have a public job. In my mind that doesn't require his (or anyone's) personal life to be an open book.
He worked his way from crewman, to driver, to Champion, to president at JFR.
Life and circumstances change, and he decided to leave the position and pursue other things.
When he left the company, his former team was running good and winning races.
All the cars were sponsored and the company was doing well.
I don't know all the details, but what I do know doesn't add up to a conspiracy.
And if I was starting a new team and he wanted to drive, I would be thrilled to have him.
