Cowin was a no-show, so he will be paid on last year's payout schedule tomorrow for skipping the "Night of Fire."

so what does this actually mean. it was on drag race central after cowin elected to sit out the last run. does ihra actually deduct pay for not running in the NIGHT OF FIRE show.

Yup, that's part of the improved payout for the fuel cars - have to run the "Night of Fire" session (if there is one). Otherwise, they are paid on last-year's purse breakdown. There's also a 5-point incentive for running that session, but that doesn't mean much to the part-time participants. However, the purse difference should. Don't know if the Cowin team was aware of the impact on their Sunday payout when they pulled out of line, haven't seen anybody up in the tower protesting so far today.
