Well... In my opinion Rick has 2 options, and you know what they say about opinions......... 
Keeping in mind they have an extreeeemly popular driver line up with Clay Millican, and Tony Schumacher - with a sponsor through 2032 BTW.
Just thinking out loud.. Or Typing out loud? You get the idea.
#1 Keep things status quo and hope for the best. Certainly possible. I think highly of all those guys, they have a pretty tight knit group over there, and have won races before.
#2 Go all in, Take it next level and wipe the slate clean. Move the drag racing shop to Indy, and start putting feelers out there to who's available, or who might be available for the right price. Can you get a Rob Wendland and his core group of guys? Can current part time deal guys like Todd Okuhara or Ron Douglas be an option? Can you get a second in command type of guy like a Todd Smith who's perfectly capable of running his own car? Could you make Aaron Brooks a good offer and get him off the Richards car? I think there are plenty of options If they wanted to make a move. Now, some of those moves might just be a lateral move, but sometimes a little mix up could be just the thing a team needs. You may ask, why Indy? Well first off, I think your options for crew chiefs and crew guys in general will be broader being based there.
At an entirely different level- Could Tony shop his deal around IF he's not happy? Could he partner up with a Shawn Reed Racing and keep that team together?
I guess we'll find out soon enough.

right on. i have a feeling there are teams already considering this group for '27, maybe even an entire crew/CC swap out.

good. he and clay are an odd couple. i'll give them two more races to prove they (both cars) can turn the corner, after tony's
comments after brainerd test. was led to believe we'd see results at indy, but weather may have been the problem.
i think rwr should be be blake alexander in FC and clay in TF under pronto/parts plus company umbrella.

Everybody was hooping and hollering about 20 something fuel cars being at Indy, I told anybody that would listen that only 4-6 of those cars stood a chance in hell of winning. The rest were just there to waste parts and money and they didn't disappoint. Horrible qualifying effort by most cars.

It has been 23 years and 457 races since Tony failed to qualify at a Nhra race. Source Jason Galvin (and Joe Costello) Wonder if they called Bob Frey?

Would seem that Rob W. would be a hot commodity, he’s done a very reasonable job with Shawn’s car this year, and the Indy performance with two cars was impressive IMO.
That's the cool thing about things, freedom of speech.
He's ALLOWED to have his opinion on things.

My understanding is Tony gets all the best.new pieces and Clay is the proverbial red headed step child. RWR needs to let Tony go find a high dollar team to drive for, dump the DSR pipe and get Clay NEW PBRC pipe with out a damn canopy (which he was forced to get into to match Tony), keep the best crew members regardless which team they are on and concentrate on just one car in 2027. No need to try and run two cars that don't make it out of the first round consistently when you can run one that has proven the ability to win. OK all you Tony lovers I'll take the heat.

Ha. Call PBRC and tell them you want 2 new cars ASAP. You'll be lucky to have them in time for Indy next year. Not slam against them by any means at all, they are just in high demand.
