A shocker. I didn't see this coming. I guess she accepted a gig with an Indy Car team. She didn't say what team. Clay Millican needs to find a new clutch person.

bet they are in vegas this weekend. maybe already........she really didn't say if her husband is along as a double hire @ gnassi?

At the end of the interview she said Chip Ganassi Racing is the team she will be working with.

She also said her ultimate goal is getting into Formula 1, and Indy Car is a stepping stone.

couple years w/indy cars, then try to get hired as initial group on andretti's F1 deal, if it ever comes to fruition.

I think it will happen for Andretti. I don't think GM is working toward being a power unit developer on its own.

Yeah, that’s a bummer. She was ”m’lady” in Nitro, hope the team can find someone half as good to replace her. Really glad she got an offer from a F1 team. Go KayLynn!

yes they are

Blaine, aka ”Ringo” will handle the clutch for RWR/Millican/Jim-O. They recruited a new clutch asst. Matt (someone) that used to assist Jessie Snyder, Millican’s current car chief, from the Kalitta teams.

She won't be completely gone as revealed today. Blaine will do the clutch and she'll visit the team at a couple/few races next season. Maybe pitch in if needed. Indycar season is 17 races

Good to hear she will be around some, although I’m not sure that’s a detail that I picked up on.

All RWR Top Fuel news comes through Clay's youtube channel. Watched the KayLyyn Blaine episode last night. Sitting next to KayLynn was a new young man who will be on the crew next year. Clay interviewed him but I'd have to watch it again for the details. Last night was a long time ago!

Saw the vid, but her “coming back” wasn’t something I was sure about - it seemed like they were joking that after F1 racing, she’d want to come back, at least that was my impression when I finished the vid. I might have taken it out of context.

The new clutch asst. Matt was someone who used to work with Jessie on the Kalitta cars. That’s a detail I DID pick up on.
