OK we all know Ashley is getting married soon. Who thinks she will change her last name to Hood and who thinks she will keep Force as her last name?

I'm thinking that what's on the marriage certificate might not be the same as what she uses in her public and professional life. Just a guess, but I think she'll stick with the Force name.

cereally? I can deal with any of the three ways. Ashley Force, Ashley Hood <----- yeah, that looks wrong, or Ashley Force-Hood<----- that was hard to type

EVERYBODY (meaning media/sponsors/fans) knows her as Ashley Force .. and like Joe says, ca$h is king. I think she will stick with Force at least professionally. (see: Troxel, Melanie)

I would hope that if she is seriously considering changing her name to Hood, that she would seek out Angelle Sampey and get some counsel from her first. Not a slam on Angelle, but I am sure 3 names in 8 years has led to some very awkward questions having to be answered and that Angelle would surely have some good advice/insight into the matter for Ashley.

Angel Sampey, I think has had a time of name recognition. Should have kept the same name (except he made it so no one liked him).
Ashley, for "WORK" should keep it Force. Otherwise it can be Minick.

Her father aside, when you're a racer and born with a name like Force, I don't care if I was marrying a Rockefeller, I wouldn't change my name! That's just too perfect!

I'm sure she'll probably keep it professionally, and maybe use Hood in private. I'm all for Danny taking Force though.... to heck with tradition!
