What could possibly go wrong!

Do they race twice? Seems like with the inside lane you have a shorter route with that curve and an advantage.

No I

Nothing could go wrong. Trucks never get through that k-rail. Oh wait...(warning...language)

Realistically, I don't see how anything could possibly go WRONG.
Those rig's that move around 80.000 lbs could never push thru the K-Rail.RIGHT
And the soot from the exhaust...has a high nutritional value.DOSNT IT...
NO PROBLEMO !

I will say I was interested because the rigs were slower & I had time to process the race as it was happening. Read into that what you will ... cough ...cough NHRA . The safety aspect is unreal.

Down here in NJ and Pennsy I am more afraid of the Quebec truck drivers than any of the others.....lots of accidents and a heavy language/understanding barrier....we have a law that is well marked on well spaced signs that say no trucks in the left lane, guess where they drive?
I see a Quebec license plate and I get outta there quick!

They've been doing it for years... at the top of the 'hill' Is a firestation and I believe a hospital or clinic

Well they're the most "french" of any of the Canadian provinces, and like the mother country of France "arrogant" is their middle name. Do you really think that they are going to listen to "those Americans" when they have to come down here to the 'States?

Anyway, I was thinking the same thing as everyone else when I watched the video: one thing goes wrong and it's bye-bye big rig drags.

THAT is IDIOTIC!

My God, hundreds of people at SEROIUS risk of death or injury.

PS: See the ProMod guy who was doing "squirts" down in Tennessee a couple years ago.
PPS: Can't understand how any responsible trucking company would allow their trucks to be used in that kind of venue.

There I fixed that for you. I live in Ontario and have had more near misses with trucks with Quebec plates than any others.

It's not any different than when you see people on the outside of a turn at major Road Rally or off-road race.
STUPID STUPID STUPID.
