Well it was good while it lasted....

might get leftover NASCAR viewers for this broadcast ( they started off with the news about how many women are winning this year)

and I bet the ratings will be one of the highest of the year, I bet over 1 million viewers.............so much for the crying about the delay.

I think whenever a live race runs long, the next show will start late. It's happened in drag racing's favor in the past I believe.

They would probably move the NASCAR race if the NHRA was a live event, but no way for a taped race. I didn't mind, the end of that Dover race was awesome.

One of the things that FOX Sports has always seemed to get right is dealing with live events that run over. I'm not a huge fan of the current coverage, but I don't think that is an area they are going to mess up like ESPN consistently did.

ESPN would have chopped however much time the NASCAR race went over off of the NHRA race so that the underwater soap bar carving championships started on time. Turned out the end of the Crashcar race was pretty good.

Probably already been said but I read something like it was the most viewers since at least 2002. I assume this is just for Commerce race aka The Strip behind The Cracker Barrel.
