Al Hofmann’s son Wayne just shared his new car for the 2025 racing season. It’s the original restored 1991 BDS Probe body. Wayne mainly runs the Funny Car Chaos series.

Watched him on the Mountain in the early 2000's when I was just a 10 year old kid...

First time I saw Al Hoffman I thought there was a bowling league somewhere missing a bowler. He was quite a guy.

Time marches on. Glad I had the chance to see them both compete on the track against each other several times. Wayne does a great job honoring his dad. Saw him this year in the Western Auto car at a nostalgia event in New York. Looked grsat ran hard and he's a mice guy too.

Tommy passed away many years ago, way too young. He was a brilliant guy.
