I miss seeing Al Hoffman and John Force on the track. Epic battles on TNN tv with Steve Evans interviewing in the shut down area.

First time I saw Al Hoffman I thought there was a bowling league somewhere missing a bowler. He was quite a guy.

Time marches on. Glad I had the chance to see them both compete on the track against each other several times. Wayne does a great job honoring his dad. Saw him this year in the Western Auto car at a nostalgia event in New York. Looked grsat ran hard and he's a mice guy too.

How about his mom! I see her name (Helen) on the front of the car. She was a fierce competitor. And a good crew member
