anyone know when za za energy was out and gaston kirby (sp?) was in?
are the two parties related? separate?
gotta' give that team kudos - only one of four in semi's to lauch true & straight
I like AJ too, and his dad. They make big power. But this year I'm goin with Erica. I know, a long shot, but still possible.
Maple Grove is only 100ft higher, than St. Louie, but has longer concrete (I think).
Also it's the home of the ET record for P/S. So "IF" the cool temps stay, a new record is possible, (and 20 extra pts). If not Maple Grove, then I don't see it at Vegas, or Pomona.
I'm pretty sure Maple Grove is 200 feet lower than Gateway.
Gaston Kearby is on the Board of Directors for Za Za Energy.
Gateway 455ft and Maple Grove 548ft.
Definitely some conflicting information out there, I have a couple sources that list Maple Gove being lower than Gateway. I checked Google Earth and it has Gateway being 100ft lower than Maple Grove. One thing is for sure, there are a lot more trees around Maple Grove.
Another thing is for sure ... I will be at Maple Grove this weekend. My first trip there ... weather looks good, they should be flying!!!

My source is nhra's info. I got the same numbers as Paul Miller.....
I agree the more trees should help. IF the forcast low temps hold, and with good track prep, we should see awwsum ET's .
Thanks Erica for taking out Line we need to keep beatng up on them Summit Boys!
