man it's been way too long. Warren and Kurt need to get back up into being contenders again. It's nice that they have improved alot in the performance area, but the gain made it where they are safe bet to qualify, they need another 400-600 hundreds
Again,it's WJ's call as to when if ever he gets out of the car. Why don't you guys who think he needs to get out send him a letter telling him so. That way he can write you back and tell you where to go.
i figure WJ's Driving is probably 3rd on his 'things to worry about list'. First thing is to get some company painted on both his and Kurts all white cars, second, find some horsepower or combination to go back to being a top half car, then work on the RT's
whew mike calm down, it's an opinion site and everybody is allowed to have one. I think he wants to get out but does not want to give up racing. He's not in a position where he can get out cause he does not have the sponsor he needs to put someone in that car and he's not gonna stop driving because then there's no money coming in.

That's right and I gave mine. WJ is paying the bills and we live under the Golden Rule. The ones with the Gold make the rules and as long as he does so,he will make the decision. I don't see anybody calling for any other driver to step out of the car no matter the class. It just gets old hearing somebody telling the winningest driver ever in P/S to get out of the car he owns. That would be like telling Force to quit if he hadn't been doing well. Have you ever thought that he may be having the time of his life right now? he has nothing to prove.
Mike you make an excellent point. The first ever pro-stock car I saw was warren johnson, I have only been a fan since 1998 and learning nhra at 14 that was one of wj's best season. I then saw him win a title again in 99 and 01. It breaks my heart he's no longer a name as far as a solid contender for every wally and kurt as well. I like to see WJ have one last great season before he hangs it up for good and puts someone else in. I don't want WJ to get pushed out, but I am afriaid the times may dictate that.

Plus remember that Sam spends his time at the track getting close to women instead of talking to people like WJ who has forgotten more than most of us will ever know about PS!
