The best race was the Funny Car final between Beckman and Prock with John Force standing on the starting line. The stated goal today was to bring the Wally home to John. They had 3 chances and 1 hit the jackpot with a big smile on John's face. I think that was a big moment for JFR, one year ago John's driving career ended and "everyone" involved is just thrilled to see him able to be at the races standing at the line looking proud to be the Team Manager. What a great day for the greatest Nitro Funny Car driver in Nhra history. Cool to see him happy and at peace with were he is today. I guarantee he will never say he retired from drag racing.
