Just bumping this thread back to the top so I remember to listen to John's podcast with Melanie. I missed it 2 weeks ago.

Melanie is the true definition of a racer and it's tough to see her and lots of greats in this era on the sidelines. I became a huge fan or hers a few years ago when she stood firm and told her teammate Morgan Lucas she wanted to run heads up, even though losing (which she did) that round meant she was out of the chase. Gotta admire that sort of character.
