I was there Sunday and if the place was 55 - 60% full I would be suprised. We were estimating about 6,000 buts in the seats, regardless of how many tickets were sold. I also think the division race the week earlier did not help any either.

What is your estimate on how many seats there are in grandstand and how many in the GA bleachers?

The weather is pretty equal at both races. At least in the years I've attended both. Highs generally in the high 70's-low 80's during the day.

I was told the Pitside at Vegas has 18,000 seats!

I have only missed the frist vegas race been to all the rest(big deal I know), but there has always been enough race cars to put on a good show. Attendance for NHRA is at a stand still for I'am sure a number of reasons, why would lower attendance keep drag race fans from going (just asking)

vegas part of the western swing???? i fully agree nhra consistantly screws there schedule up or even better id love to see them add different tracks to the schedule instead of running the same track 2 times a year except the pamona race

Hey Mark, thanks for taking the time to answer my question. We are leaning to going to the fall race one of these years.

Fall race is great to attend. You get the Pro Mods, usually full fields in the alcohol cars, and more often than not, 25 or more TF, 22 or more FC. In my opinion, the only thing that would make this event better is if my wife would win $7,000 every year at the casino while I'm at the track like she did about 5 years ago.
