Valdosta

Interesting that Valdosta, being in far Southern GA, is only about 110 miles from Gainsville, FL. When have we last had National Event tracks so close to each other? Ontario and Pomona back in the 1970's?

Lots of Gatornationals shirts being worn today. Definitely drawing same demographic from the south

josh hart is loving these two nat. events so close to home.
this is really quite the year for nhra with 4 new venues.
i see chad green's latest sponsor, bpauto is now the presenting sponsor at epping.
dodge/mopar is now sponsor of great lakes nationals, and they changed the logo for this event.
too bad no one aligned with this weekend's race at SGMP

austin goes 3.956 in Q2 ..... IMO venables/todd is a win waiting to happen. they're getting it figured out.
langdon's 345 truly amazing.

Great move by the NHRA moving the race to the earlier start time, rain is approaching the area. Langdon and Todd's runs were impressive.

Interesting that with the high speed, his ET was not at least in the 3.60's.
I could be way off on this and misunderstood. But Lohnes said something about Langdon lost a cylinder, but it fired backup and somehow changed how the rev limiter came into play. Does that sound plausible?
