One thing that stuck out to me was Brittany Force, and not the 343.51 run.
During Q3- That car gained 48.52 mph out the back in less than ideal conditions. Grubnic really has the set up for getting through there well and matching the tune up to the timing retard (rev limiter) sequence. It gained 45 plus at least 3 times. Just to show how getting there a little slower effects things. When it ran 343.16 in Sonoma, it "only" gained 38.22 mph in the back half. When you put the 48.52 mph Indy gain on the 304.94 Sonoma 1/8 speed that's 353.46 mph if you could do it all at once, which in reality of course would never happen. Just something fun to think about.

Possible, but if I had to place a bet I'd bet on Stewart making the change. I can't see TSR fielding a second dragster (or handing over the keys to his) and then giving Erica the seat when Leah is right there, looking like she's itching to join the fray once again. Tony seems to be a guy who lives for the challenge and Pro Stock is an obvious challenge for any driver.

Late last year there was talk from Richard Freeman about fielding two top fuel cars in the near future with Erica driving one. While it doesn’t look like it is going to happen soon, there is a possibility that Freeman could team up with Tony and field a second car with Erica driving.

Stewart recently did a test in one of the Elite PS cars and commented on how much more the driver made a difference than in a TF car. He seemed positive about driving one.
Leah may come back to the TF car and Stewart run a Johnson HP Garage PS car out of Elite.
Freeman was talking about TF for Enders. My understanding is getting all of the right people and $$$ in place has put that on hold.

in the last 4 weeks, starting with div. 5 double header in brainerd, followed by brainerd national, then bowling green, then indy,
and maybe more previous to div. 5 race, and after indy (this coming weekend), it is truly amazing the sportsman racers who are out
there competing week in and week out. what a commitment of time, money, and travel ...... i get indy, it's hallowed ground, but if you're truly
looking at indy as THE race that still draws from both coasts, it's all about wed and thur when those lanes are full of the baddest hot rods in the country.

I don't know how Freeman manages so many different cars and teams but if he can handle adding 2 fuel dragsters to his fleet of Pro Stock cars, more power to him. Erica would probably make a good fit if she decides she's tired of banging gears.

They always said that it would be a second category for Erica. She would still run pro stock. I think all the health issues within team Elite put the TF idea on the back burner.
I don’t think Freeman would manager the 2 team T/F’sic they do happen. I think he’s smart enough to get onboard with a existing team and bring some sponsorship.

please nhra, remove the AHFS at indy going forward. having it on made many class runs a joke. people lifing @ 1000' who had the faster car
and would have easily taken home the small wally. what is point of building the fastest car? very counter intuitive to the whole idea of class racing.

you are right; no, not everyone, but if you're trying to win your class and you reach your final, there should be no reason under the sun for letting off,

les tunes for phil as well as stan? i did not know that. didn't les tune for cy chesterman a while back too?

Back when Sipos sold his stuff in the 90’s, Chesterman was the one who purchased it and Les Davenport came along with the car. Dan Hutchmeier eventually became the crew chief full time and was the tuner of record on their championship car. Dan worked for Chesterman’s company full time. Not sure what happened to him when Cy hung it up. I don’t recall his name being associated with anyone else. Davenport also tuned Jirka Kaplan when he was running alcohol funny car.
