As far as the sponsorship, I have read that it comes out of the recruiting budget. If they didn't spend it in motorsports they would spend it somewhere else.

For the most part, you are correct...I believe that they also have goals of retention and re-enlistment, though...So that being said, I'd bet that they have budgets set aside for those activities as well, and may pool a bit of those funds too...You'd have to ask Don...

He did tell me years ago that the ARMY used to spend like $80,000 per new recruit, and he was able to help them lower that with this program, so I'd bet that the ARMY will be with Don for a long time...It seems like a great relationship...

Eric....If you are looking for a sponsor, you might want to consider being a bit more respectful towards other competitors, and more importantly, fans of the sport...

It is a small world...Sponsors lurk on here all the time...And if I was looking to sponsor a rider, based on the things I have seen you post just in this thread alone, I wouldn't do it even for $100, because I wouldn't even want my brand associated with someone that is as arrogant, condescending, nasty, and self serving as you are...

Oh, and before you ask who I am? I am simply someone who could help you if I wanted to...and based on what I have seen in the last 10 minutes - I don't.

Angelle is great for this sport. Her name is world wide, alot of people that aren't into Drag racing still know who Angelle is. If you think about it, she is probably in the top 10 of all time for a Drag Racer with name recognition in the main stream media. Big Daddy, Snake, Shirley, Bud King, John Force, Ashley Force, The Sarge, Angelle....................

Is that Seeling, Savoie, or Sampey?

Just curious on the whole "name recognition thing"... changing your surname 3 times in 10 years makes it kind of difficult.

Not to take away from Angelle's ability... she's still one of the best out there.

An observation from Sunday at Ennis...

The 3 biggest ovations for Round 1 wins were, in no particular order, John Force, Ashley Force, and Angelle. Whether you like her or not, there's absolutely no disputing her popularity.

We are running funnybike these days . PSB to me was a bunch of political garbage and I can't say I miss it but do miss some of the people associated with it .I do however love the PSB class at Prostar .


Rathman just as you have the right to your opinion I have mine . I would not ever want to be associated with a sponsor that would not stand up for what they think is right just because its the "cool" thing to do or because they want to fit in .To me Angelle is a novelty item for sissys . And once again she proved herself with the booooooohoooooooooo I lost again . I can't say I have ever seen Craig,Steve,Matt,Peggy,Karen well crap.......... any other PSB rider cry a damn river after every loss .Maybe she needs to be sponsored by KLEENEX or CHARMIN .
