U/Stock

Noted that Gary Summers is in a U/S 1977 Mustang. Ran 12.842 ET. Does this car have the small V-8 w/ 2 bbl carb combination? If so, running in the 12's is really haulin'.

If you ever get a chance to look at a Stock or Super Stock you will see that they're not stock at all. That small 2bbl V8 probably has had a ton of work on it.

He was D.Q.'d for the wrong number on the head casting. Sucks because the head was legal but rules are rules.

Whats -1.80 under have to do with it?
1.80 under (theoretically) would be less likely to cause an opponent to foul than if he was dialed .001 under, 2 more seconds sitting there waiting, not that .001 under would qualify , just saying.

Only during class eliminations that would happen. During eliminations it might happen if a 9 second stocker got tried of waiting.
