Actually when I worked at BFI in the late 70s early 80s they had the annual "Trucker Nationals" at Dragway 42 in Ohio, We would take three garbage trucks down, one to race and two to haul the trash off, it was a blast, we had offical pit crew shirts and the whole nine yards. There were some nice trucks there too.
