In a situation like this, it is nice to have Brackett Field airport right across the street from the Pomona track. I'm pretty sure all the well-heeled Team Owners (Kalitta, etc) use Brackett to get to the track from home.

Yes, no one saw a plane crash onto Fairplex property coming today. I think this is a first after how many years of racing at Pomona? Or in all the years the Pomona Fairgrounds has been open, I think this is a first. Pretty amazing.
