I had no idea why but for a long time I have been rooting for Lyle Barnett to win in Pro mod. After watching the Lyle Barnett video on Competition Plus. I now know why, and I will be rooting for him for ever. It is a must see video if you care anything at all about drag racing.

That was a great video. I believe Lyle was in contention to replace Leah in the TSR fuel car, before Tony ended up taking the seat. Would love to see Lyle in a fuel car at some point.

Spending months in the burn ward and at my house with Herm Petersen and seeing what he went through with his surgery's. i did not think anyone in drag racing other than Herm would come back from such server burns and have a desire to drive again, I was wrong after seeing the Lyle Barnett video. God bless his wife, family, and doctors for getting Lyle through the entire bad times after the accident.
