Tj gets a gig this weekend

TJ, did an awesome job as a pit reporter this weekend and I hope that ESPN can use him a lot more in the future. He brings a vast amount of racing knowledge with him to the ESPN team.

TJ did way better than I expected, obviously he has the knowledge, but he was way more comfortable than I thought he would be. He came across as if he does this every weekend. Nice job TJ!

He did a nice job for sure, but I'm sure he'd rather be strapped in a seat again.
I agree with you, but there is a time when you have to look at what is best for your financial future, and I would see an ESPN contract as a step in the right direction. Plus he still supplies some of the teams with a lot of the everyday supplies that they use. But with all that said...I would still love to see him in a car, but I wouldn't be upset to see him as an ESPN pit reporter, either. The main thing is... that he gets to make his living around dragracing.

I was extremely impressed with the job TJ did. he sounded to me like he's been doing it for years.

VERY good job, and I've a feeling we'll see him again.

I agree, T.J did really well this weekend. Would like to see him in a car but at least it pays the bills and puts food on the table....

We would all like to see him driving, but I give him credit, he manages to get seat time here and there, AND gets other gigs keeping him directly involved at the races. Nice to have options...

What was that MSD box that TJ showed on the telecast? Let's see 1,000 feet 320 more feet to shut down and they want to retard the timing more? More blown up stuff? It would be nice to go back to quarter mile, love the nostalgia funnys, but they are so slow compared to today's stuff. It's really hard to go backwards! But the costs today are astronomical.
