Great article, and way more truth than poetry; just one minor glitch: "and final round respectfully." should have read "respectively."

But, that's an easy mistake to make.

Good read Tim. Your bit on Safety; "Yet, they will allow a person to be a human target standing in front of a car, spinning its tires at over 40 mph with no control over the back end of that same car." must have been read by many teams attending the March Meet. One thing that stood out for me at the MM was that many of the persons guiding the drivers back over their burn out tracks were standing well to the side of the cars while doing so. A good number of them were off the track during the burn out, then hopped over the wall. You might include something on Safety in your future articles. Good stuff.

You guys are awesome. I think i am going to make it a goal to get a 'MATER' in every column, simular to Dean Skuzá's 'WORD OF THE DAY' in his post race interviews we got Rapid in the first one, quotes from 'ma' and Wes Tark in the 2nd one and JRX in round 3!
