Tigerflow Racing's Tommy Phillips Races To His Fourth 2009 Wally (1 Viewer)

[coverattach=1]TOPEKA, Kan. -- In Sportsman Racing when 68 competitor's all show up vying for the same end result, the Winner's Circle, It's no secret that winning is much like a roll of the dice in Las Vegas. To add to his "Wall of Wally's" multi-time event winner and engine builder Tommy Phillips has successfully rolled the dice by driving his way into the winner's circle again. This is the 4th time so far this year going into the mid way point of the season. Two of those wins came from his weekend winning double-up performance at the Cajun Nationals earlier this year.

"You never know what's going to happen going into race day" notes Phillips. "In Super Comp, we exited the race in the third round. In Super Gas though, we made it through all seven rounds of competition and finished the weekend in the Winner's Circle."

This win moves Philips into the 13th position in Super Gas within the Lucas Oil National Championship Points Series.

Other Tigerflow Racing results found Super Comp racer Cynthia Davis making it through to the second round of competition.

In the Alcohol Dragster category, Odom and Lawson qualified in the 9th position and Brandon "The Kid" Lewis qualified in the 14th position.

In the Alcohol Funny Car class, Steve Burck qualified his 2002 Camaro in the 9th position and Kebin Kinsley, also in a 2002 Camaro, qualified in the 13th position. All of the Tigerflow Racing Alcohol Teams qualified respectively and for a variety of reasons, all had early round 1 exits during Saturday's, hot first round of eliminations.

The next appearance for Tigerflow Racing will be in Chicago, June 4 -7, for the United Association Route 66 Full Throttle race in Joliet, Illinois.
