Cubic inch limit is 526. but they have a weight to cubic inch rule. Not sure the ratio with out going to the rule book, but that is why.

I'll tell you what.... Bob Meyer is the guy to ask. He's on here time to time but most likely at Phoenix today. Ask Him He'd give you the answer in detail.

just like Don said wieght to cu. in.5# per cube . Ex. 421x5=2105 a wieght you can make easily injected.

hey mike
the reason i ask , we were heavy anyway 100 pds over the limit n our a-fuel car so adding cubes wuld it b better as far as performance, we culdnt loose the extra 100 lbs i had noticed art galliant was at 452 cu in, guess my question wuld it b a performance gain to run say a 474 cu in , i am asking from an outlaw racing standpoint the series locally is really run wat ya brung, i think a-fuel engine wuld b cool and culd win, in a pro mod car also it is 1/8 mile racing

That would be a tank. Anuone remember years ago before the A/Fuel cars became a factor, the weight break was around 3lbs./cube? Then gradually started ratchetting up as they got faster.
