the reason i ask , we were heavy anyway 100 pds over the limit n our a-fuel car so adding cubes wuld it b better as far as performance, we culdnt loose the extra 100 lbs i had noticed art galliant was at 452 cu in, guess my question wuld it b a performance gain to run say a 474 cu in , i am asking from an outlaw racing standpoint the series locally is really run wat ya brung, i think a-fuel engine wuld b cool and culd win, in a pro mod car also it is 1/8 mile racing
That would be a tank. Anuone remember years ago before the A/Fuel cars became a factor, the weight break was around 3lbs./cube? Then gradually started ratchetting up as they got faster.
