This thread is so laughable. Things happen at the top end literally all the time. But because all you behavioral experts saw it on TV, it's a problem? No, I would not want my son acting that way, but it is what it is. Especilly if he's an adult!! If Glidden or WJ cut someone off like that, everyone here would be thumping their chests about how those old guys taught someone a lesson. Can't have it both ways.

And when you guys bring wealth into this, you all just sound bitterly jealous. Get over it.
 
If they race second round they should have a staging battle. Like Larry Morgan and Allen Johnson had in the final in Denver a
few years ago.

I was there and the crowd was loving it.
 
Gray has not been around long enough to justify his actions. Don’t compare his actions to the classic WJ/Glidden battles. Those guys worked hard for everything they got. They came up through the ranks, surviving on hard work.
Gray is the beneficiary of family money.
If a throw down happens between Gray and Erica, my money is on Erica.

Your comment itself is laughable. The kid is a punk and most fans agree. If you don’t believe me, re-read the comments of this thread. To have a top end issue every now and again is certainly expected, but this dude is constantly stirring up drama among his peers. Don’t get your panties bunched up, Jim. It’s okay to have your own thought of the guy, or his temper tantrums, which differ from the majority. But it’s far from laughable.

What?? You made my point for me, thank you! People need to stop thinking, suggesting, or demanding how others should act. As long as he owns what he says, why do you care? He doesn't have to meet the expectations of anyone here. You don't like him, fine. It's your right.

even though Erica had the right to be pissed, i'm not sure i would play the "Privileged kid card" in this case as Erica didn't exactly grow up poor either!!

Really?? Who are you to decide how someone is supposed to act? You don't like him, I get that. But a few posts on this board does not speak for all. Stop it. Why do people have to fit your definition. He's a professional race car driver and you're not. It's his career as long as he owns his actions.

My "panties" are fine. I never said I liked the guy, in fact I don't. But it is not my place to define how someone, in a position I will never be in, should act.

Kid has a great deal to learn about how things work at the end of the track.

I was happy to hear him say he apologized because he was 100% wrong to do what he did. Hopefully he has learned a lesson which it appears he did not know.

when a driver of less experience says to one who's been Champion twice... "the way I see it..." you know he's not just not humble, but suffers from "Ego-Inflatus"

and there have been words after PS races....EE vs Greg Anderson, and umm, Tanner vs everyone
 
I would like to have seen him try that crap with Greg (in Q-4) or Jason. They'd knock the boy out!
 
I think the kid is a spoiled punk....and i wish (hope) he gets fined....if your drag racing in particular as a professional.......I would think there would be some understanding of track etiquette .....i'm all for trash talk and in your face.....But.....not when risking live's and i definitely saw the potential for that.....
 
Erica was sitting across from me in the hotel lounge last night and I was just joking with Tanner a few minutes ago in our pit during the rain delay and neither one of them seem to have let it bother them near as much as it seems to be bothering a few on here.:)
