C'mon, she has driven EVERYTHING from Jr Dragster to Pro Mod to Top Fuel, she is the real deal. Does she have a great team/tuner yes........she backs up her smack talk, just like Torrence is doing.

I'm not changing my opinion after finally seeing the telecast, but I will say that while the media is obviously keeping tabs on Leah & Shawn (as well as Steve-O), they're only doing so because there is definitely some underlying frustration there - I would say more so between Shawn & Leah than Steve-O & Leah. And I loved the fact that Shawn laughed when he was asked if he was thrown off when she lit both bulbs and then said something to the effect, "I've forgotten more than she'll ever know." (Supported by the fact that he left on her - .052 vs. .079) Important to note here that she won that round in very large part because she ran low ET of the meet arguably when she needed it most.

It's probably got a ways to go before I would consider it a truly heated rivalry, but the basis for one has definitely been laid and it is, in my estimation, very good for the sport.

She ain't teaching anybody anything!
She is benefiting from a quality tune up by a great crew and crew chief!
Technically she hasn't done anything until she wins a championship!
She even ticked off Tony Schumacher.
The way that car is tuned any other driver would have the same results!
She needs to be a little more humble!
Shirley did all the hard work she is benefiting from don't act like you are fighting a fight that happened in the 70's.

I'll give you lines 1 and 4, which couldn't be more obvious to start with, while the rest of that is just a mess. As for the last line, I wouldn't even know where to start. Wow..... Lmao!!!

"She needs to be a little more humble!"

Leah was humble. Then she got the Schumacher gig and if you are standing in line for a pic or an autograph you need to wait for her to deal with the VIP's in her pit area first.... and I mean wait.

She is doing a great job this year and if they can keep the car running as good as they have and she keeps driving as good as she has been then that team definitely has a great chance at winning the championship this year.

They rarely do at some point they always taper off the key is how quickly and when the countdown starts they can get it sorted.
I think Leah has earned her seat that's not the debate it's her mouth that needs be muffled.
As I stated earlier this year she ticked Tony Schumacher off just be a little more humble and it will go a long way.
I did like her congrats to Clay after his first win that was classy!

Rivalry is always a good thing the last real one was between John force and Whit Bazemore. It to PC huggy huggy for me!
I think the rivalry is more between owners than drivers like The Don and John.

So she pissed off Tony big friggen deal. I can think of 2-3 racers Tony has ticked off. And this comment "The way that car is tuned any other driver would have the same results!" you do realize applies to John Force, Larry Dixon, Gary Scelzi and so on.

Yeah so! Who pissed in your cornflakes!
Yeah everybody someone panties are bunched up! LOL

I don't remember her making Tony mad, heck I like her even more now :) What did she do then?

People need to make up their minds. We complain about the robotic interviews we get then when someone does show some personality we hate on them. Is there a certain level of cred they need before talking to much. (old school throwback maybe there should be a mater cred meter on the screen and they have to earn enough to talk smack ;) )

Scotty Cannon showing up day 1 and talking smack, dumb move. People that have won races and are fighting for a championship, have fun. Get your opponent riled up to where they have a bad light. Maybe say that the drivers don't do much anymore, perhaps this is an area where they can have some effect.
