After dancing with the class records in P/S, the fuel cars drop off a little.
Alan says that Kurt is fine and the car's OK. The chutes didn't deploy until the car was pretty much at a stand still. He says Kurt had no problem making weight with about 40 extra pounds of rocks and dirt.
The carbon fibre nose and one of the rocker panels are banged up, and will need repair. They are getting help from a couple of the funny car crews with that. You'll see some "missing teeth" when you watch the qualifying show this weekend.
