The Kids Are Alright

AA/FD Flip Schofield, Cyr & Schofield with Flip's wife Fran (VHT bottle in hand). Talked to Fran a couple of times in the late 70s when she was hanging with Dale Armstrong, Dale's Pro Comp days at Seattle NHRA Fallnationals. AA/FC The year is 1982 "Veney's Vette" Ken Veney in the seat. Ken became the 3rd member of the Crane Cams Funny Car 250 MPH Club in 1982 at Indy, running a whopping 254.23 MPH and yes I know I've posted my Crane Cams pin before, but it goes with the post. Once again does any of you have this pin? I just never see it. The private collector I got the hatpin from got it in 1981, he got 2 pins. The 250 MPH Club started in May 1981, it took a year for the first 250 mph run. Prudhomme May 1982 at Baton Rouge
