AA/FD No ID on the fuel dragster near lane, but for sure it's "The Surfers" far lane. No mistaking the scoop
or the Engle Cams decal underneath the headers. And of course, no idler pulley...Bitchin

AA/FD Flip Schofield, Cyr & Schofield with Flip's wife Fran (VHT bottle in hand). Talked to Fran a couple of times in the late 70s when she was hanging with Dale Armstrong, Dale's Pro Comp days at Seattle NHRA Fallnationals. Nice lady, really enjoyed her writing in Drag News and other Drag Racing Publications. Below is my "Friendly Fran" hatpin

AA/FC The year is 1982 "Veney's Vette" Ken Veney in the seat. Ken became the 3rd member of the Crane Cams Funny Car 250 MPH Club in 1982 at Indy, running a whopping 254.23 MPH and yes I know I've posted my Crane Cams pin before, but it goes with the post. Once again does any of you have this pin? I just never see it. The private collector I got the hatpin from got it in 1981, he got 2 pins. The 250 MPH Club started in May 1981, it took a year for the first 250 mph run. Prudhomme May 1982 at Baton Rouge
