[Gone Dead Train]

They only come out at night

AA/FC From the pages of Popular Hot Rodding magazine. The late Don Schumacher in the seat at the Popular Hot Rodding Nationals at
Martin, Michigan's U.S. 131 Dragway

[Gone Dead Train]

Holdin' on to Yesterday

AA/FD No ID. Photo by, hell I don't know. But for sure it's late 1965 and well, just bitchin

[Gone Dead Train]

Your guess is as good as mine

AA/FC or? For sure it's a funny car chassis (maybe they are running it as a AA/FA in a booked in or a open AA/FA show)
with a BBC on nitro and a wing (very cool) and last but not least, a bizzare injector hat. Oh, photo by WGAF

[Gone Dead Train]

This beat goes on/Switchin' to glide

AA/FA It's the year 1976 at Tucson. Originally from Albuquerque, now resides here in Washington State for the past 45 years.
It's Dave "Nasty" Benjamin in the seat of his AA/FA. Oh, photo by WGAFF

[Gone Dead Train]

Bring on the Night

AA/FD Fantastic photo, from the Wolverine State it's the "Ramchargers" with I believe is Chuck Kurzawa in the seat or maybe not?
Oh, photo by someone with a camera

[Gone Dead Train]

What were once vices are now habits

AA/FD No ID. I'm lost for words for this fantastic photo. I will just say the only thing I know...Bitchin. JJ was right, Drag Racing is Far Out

[Gone Dead Train]

Let's take a trip Down Under

AA/FD The late Australian drag racer Ash Marshall. It's 1972 and Marshall in the seat of his "Soapy Sales IV" AA/FD at Castlereagh

AA/FC From Lake Orion, Michigan. It's Della Woods in the seat of her and brother Bernie's "Funny Honey" Dodge
Challenger nitro flopper at Great Lakes Dragaway

[Gone Dead Train]

Holdin' on to Yesterday

AA/FD From the pages of Hot Rod magazine, Tony "The Loner" Nancy. I had this bitchin photo on my bedroom wall many, many moons ago.
Like 54 years ago...Yikes

[Gone Dead Train]

Time slips away

AA/FD Gary "Mr. C" Cochran in the bleach box, waiting for the AA/FC to make it's run. Taking a guess here, the flopper is "Smokey Joe" Lee in
the seat of his Dodge Charger, I'm probably wrong, like always. I do know someone with a camera took the picture

[Gone Dead Train]

AA/FD at Dusk

AA/FD No ID. To this day, I still love B&W photo's, they catch the moment

[Gone Dead Train]

Faded Memories

AA/FD From the Eastern Seaboard it's the K&G Speed Associates fuel digger, with Ron Rivero in the seat at Pomona

[Gone Dead Train]

Tripping out, back in time

AA/FD It's the Supernationals at Ontario. What look's like a new, but for sure unpainted AA/FD with Bob Noice in the seat

[Gone Dead Train]

Reflections

AA/FD With the ABC Wide World of Sports cameraman filming the action, it's Dennis Baca from NorCal just coming out of the bleach box
at Ontario

[Gone Dead Train]

Just a Normal Day

AA/FD From the pages of Rodder and Super/Stock (it was a pretty good magazine back in the day) "The Snake" at OCIR, check out the headers are glowing. Very cool

[Gone Dead Train]

Was it just a dream

AA/FC From the Grand Canyon State it's Johnny West. Remember seeing this flopper a few times in the mid 1980s here in the Northwest.
Johnny would do the burnout on alcohol (save parts) and switch over to the yellow stuff when backing up

[Gone Dead Train]

King Harvest (Has Surely Come)

AA/FC From the small farming community of Morrison, Illinios. I give you Arnie "The Farmer" Beswick in the seat of his Pontiac Firebird AA/FC
