Thank you so much Al for the kind words (My Friend) Shute sent me a message, I could be sued, maybe he should be checking other sites, like
eBay, people are always trying to sell stolen photos, people posting on FB...ect. I'm only guilty of loving drag racing and yes I'm stuck in the 60s
and 70s and I love writing my own capations for the photos nothing more nothing less and I could use the extra money for paying the 5
Cancer operations since Aug 4th of this year (I feel like ****, the breast cancer surgery last week sucked) I've reached out to Shannon to take

In fairness to Mr. Shute, if you're doing the research to write the captions then take the extra few seconds and write "Photo by [insert name here]". Unless your personal message says something different, his public post didn't call for you to take down the photos, simply attribute credit. My two cents, anyway.

Even though many of the pictures are before my time, I enjoy seeing them and would hate to see the thread disappear.

Edited to add...I think the view count represents unique individuals, not how many times the thread has been viewed. I know I've personally viewed the thread at least 50 times.

I have gave the photographers credit on my posts, a lot of times in the magazines there is know credit. Been going to the drags since
1968 (8 years old) so I have a lot of magazines. Thanks Dennis for looking!

I have been drag racing since 1968, the year I got my driver's license. Raced my GTO and met a lot of the guys who are still my heros, Prudhomme, Garlits, Lieberman. All at Capital Raceway in MD, just a few miles outside of DC. Never would have thought I would still be racing 57 years later. Hoping for a new PB next year.
