Might be a dumb question but was always curious on the name - How did "Nasty" Dave Benjamin get the nickname "Nasty"? Was it originally intended as an insult and he kept it (a la "Swamp Rat")?
Good question, I don't know. Been watching Dave race here in the Northwest since 1980 when he moved from
New Mexico. Talked to Dave a number times over the years, nice guy. Not sure if I will run into Dave again, I
think he sold his nostalgia AA/FC last year and retired. I believe Dave is 83 or 84 years old. If I do see him again,
I will asked him.

Here’s a picture of The Invader Bitch that was on the car while I was with the team.

Very cool, love it Ted. I don't think you have ever sent me those pictures. It reminds of "Mighty Mike" Mustang
body flopper from 1981 (paint scheme) The "Invader Bitch" will live forever and that's a good thing!

I got 3 new hat pins in the mail today. You people on here will look and like it...LOL

This pin has eluded me since 1999. John made another pin in 99 that looks similar, I've had that pin
since 99. I now have 110 Force pins
