Street racing: The need for speed A&E

Hmm This Kid is REALLY STUPID!! .So he was trying to drift a FWD car???

I didn't even catch that! HAHA. Loser (the kid, not me)

They had a big thing on our local news here last night about street racing in Hartford. Knowing how often this comes up on this board, I was listening for the references. I was pretty impressed as they referred to it as street racing, and not drag racing. The only drag racing reference I caught was something to the effect of: "The street races are typically done in a drag race type fashion, two at a time, on a straight stretch of road." I could live with that.

No, he was trying to "street slide" his car. Drifting only takes place at sanctioned drifting tracks.

Been known to 'Drift" my 05 Stang in the bowling alley parking lot at 3 am, after the customers are all gone... did street race in SoCal back in High School
