Hope you're right. Hate to see a rainout.Put your fork away, I've been to Bristol when there was a 100% chance of rain and we raced all day to conclusion. The bad part was some fans were upset because they stayed home and we raced without them. I've also been there when it was raining on the circle track and we were still racing.
Epping also had a bad forecast and was run to completion.
Have a little faith.

Rain now, 100 percent for Saturday and Saturday night but Sunday looks like it might clear. Hope so.clay's got the beef again this weekend. sure would like to see that team rebound from last few lackluster races.
vincent nobile driving a MMPS this weekend.
Not lending any out. Ask Juan Pablo why…Why can't they use the jet dryers that are next door at the Bristol Motor Speedway?
I agree, living in Western TN now for three years, the storms and rain are crazy to predict. Or the weather people are always on on a DOOMS DAY attitude. At my house it seems like most storms will shift directions just before getting to my house. I'd say that the hills and mountains have a lot to do with it.Put your fork away, I've been to Bristol when there was a 100% chance of rain and we raced all day to conclusion. NHRA has their own jets. They are only used on the shutdown areas, where there isn’t any rubber or glue. Why can't they use the jet dryers that are next door at the Bristol Motor Speedway?
NHRA has JETS (just like you are describing) There is one that goes to all National events, and a couple Divisions also have one, so some Nationals have more than one NHRA-owned jet dryer on the property.I wouldn’t exactly call them jets. My wife thought they were lawn mowers. Bristol Motor Speedway, which is owned by the same company, has actual jet engine powered track dryers. But maybe they also go from track to track?
