Stick A Fork In Bristol?

Put your fork away, I've been to Bristol when there was a 100% chance of rain and we raced all day to conclusion. The bad part was some fans were upset because they stayed home and we raced without them. I've also been there when it was raining on the circle track and we were still racing.
Epping also had a bad forecast and was run to completion.
Have a little faith.

Hope you're right. Hate to see a rainout.
Rain now, 100 percent for Saturday and Saturday night but Sunday looks like it might clear. Hope so.

I wish, on the NHRA.com live timing data feed…. That (when warranted) they would add a short, one sentence comment … I.e. track cleanup delay; or… weather delay. All you see is the time stamp. Which means all the fans sitting at home see is that Paul Lee and Matt Hagan aparantly must be still sitting in their cars as of 8:15pm. How hard would that be to add? It would improve the fan experience. I don’t expect an in-depth account or a novel. A few words…. As in…WTF is going on? Why are we on hold? LOL

I agree, living in Western TN now for three years, the storms and rain are crazy to predict. Or the weather people are always on on a DOOMS DAY attitude. At my house it seems like most storms will shift directions just before getting to my house. I'd say that the hills and mountains have a lot to do with it.

NHRA has their own jets. They are only used on the shutdown areas, where there isn’t any rubber or glue.
NHRA has JETS (just like you are describing) There is one that goes to all National events, and a couple Divisions also have one, so some Nationals have more than one NHRA-owned jet dryer on the property.
