Well My Virginia Wahoo's just plain suck. I'm in NC today and missing the Thur Night game vs. UNC. I never thought I would bring myself to not go to a UVA game out of spight, but it's arrived. Up 20-0 Saturday vs. the Terps and boom, see ya later. WTF! So I'm boycotting by not putting in the 5 hour drive to Scott Stadium and hoping for better returns in 10 days vs. NC State. It's been the toughest season on record for me.

I am a Texas fan. They are ok. They are better than 9th where they are ranked. I think they got screwed in the latest ranking. They should atleast be 5th. Ohio State whooped us but I knew that was going to happen. I think USC would beat us but I am not sure about the rest of the teams ranked above us. We will see I guess. Vince Young was the man and Texas is surely feeling his loss. And Steve, no worries brother, atleast your not an Arizona Cardinals fan after Monday Night.

Rolling great here in Ann Arbor. Michigan is moving up and looking great. AS long as we get through the trap game this weekend against Iowa then it sets the stage for Michigan vs Ohio St. 1 vs 2 in a few weeks. I'm not sure what I'm more excited about, Michigan beating Ohio State or Ohio State losing to us.

Oh how I hate Ohio State.

Championship game prediction Michigan vs West Virginia or Louisville, most likely wv

not that wv is the 2nd best team in the Country but with them not playing anybody then should run the table. WV and Louisville play each other and thats about it....ok the Rutgers too but come Rutgers????

I feel bad for the sec teams. Auburn, Florida & Tenn are each very good but add in lsu and Arkansas and they just beat up on each other. Some of the best football but without a playoff they hurt themselves in this system.

USC is the most overrated team. With ucla, Notre Dumb, Cal and Oregon still on their schedule they'll end up with at least 2 L's on the season.

all in all Oh how I hate Ohio State an GO BLUE!!!

Im a Texas fan and and at this point just riding out the season to see how we fare at the end. Texas had a somewhat of a weak schedule this year with a few teams, but we did play Ohio State and the VERY MUCH HATED Oklahoma. At least we won 1 of them

PJ, good luck against Ohio State. I think it will be a good game, but I have the ending a little bit different than you, but Good Luck to Michigan. I wouldnt mind seeing OSU lose. And your right, USC is overrated a little I think.

I'm pulling for Big Blue to make to the Big Game by default. Either Ohio State or Michigan will make it. I'd like to see California run the table. I like Jeff Tedford. It must be mandatory that all BCS Conferences have a championship game. That's the next thing that must change.

As I live in Nebraska and we have no professional stick and ball sports at all available, I am a reviving Husker fan. Sorta gave up on them and the very tired option, but with Callahan, they're fun to watch again! They ain't the best, and their mid 20s ranking is just about right to my way of thinking, but they are much improved over last year, and I think Coach C is on the right track. Hope he gets to stay long enough to get things really rolling before he gets fired! And Tim, I hope we can take care of Oklahoma for you. Texas rules the big 12 right now. Congrats!

Hey the Big Ten has always had one. Michigan vs Ohio State. The rest don't matter:D

Going into the season I was very worried about OSU and although they have been very good, they haven't been what I thought and Michigan has played like they should have last year. It should be one helluva game. That run defense is awesome. I even changed my travel plans. I was supposed to be on the rode that day, when I realized it was game day I moved the trip forward a day.

after last years robbery in the bowl game I refuse to acknowledge that red team from that state next to Iowa :p

We can top all your miserable situations with our ?Pro? team! Here in Arizona we don't need gravity. The Cardinals suck enough to compensate for the lack of it. If our luck continues, Oakland will actually get their first win of the season and probably their only win of the season at the hands of our great and powerful Cardinals. The same hands that naturally rest in a choking position around our necks.

I feel your pain. In Detroit we have the worst run franchise in the history of pro sports, the lowly Lions. What makes it worse is that I am also a Raiders fan. Lions and Raiders?!?!?! my momma dropped me on my head as a baby ALOT!!!!!!

My Redskins are in the running for "lousiest run franchise". I really don't care for Dan Snyder & how he's trying to run the Skins. He's ruining the team imo.

As for college football, my Maryland Terrapins are mediocore again... great win versus Virginia (sorry Steve):o , but nothing spectacular this season----maybe if we're lucky we'll go 6-5 and play in a meaningless November bowl game*sigh*. Don't know why we can never recruit? Maybe we're just lousy at it... we didn't give that RB from West Virginia a scholarship, and he wanted to play for the Terps. Now he's ripping it up as one of the best backs in the nation. Go figure!

PJ, How dare you?!?

Notre Dumb? That's just wrong. :D

That reminds me though.....

I saw a shirt at the ND Michigan game that read "Ann Arbor" on the front and on the back read "is a whore".

Classic.

not only have you guys been to the super bowl you've won a few. We haven't even been. I believe you guys have even made the playoffs under wacko Snyder....the Lions are roughly 22-64 under the Millen era

You're right Notre Dumb was wrong and insensitive. How about Notre most overrated, overhyped, over media darling team in college football ever. ever. EVER Dame. Is that better :D :p
ya know maybe those sensitivity classes I'm going to aren't working that well

Well, the Minnesota Golden Gophers football team has really been stinking the place up so far this year. At first, some hoped that perhaps this would be a better year for the team, but they've manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory 5 times now this season. The two wins they do have were against pathetic over-matched teams who showed up for the money. Take those two away, and they're 0 and 5. They got their butts, heads, and several other body parts handed to them in Wisconsin. It was really embarrasing. This coach, Glen Mason, has been "rebuilding" this team now for, what, more than 6 years now I think. How long does it take Glen? I feel like you're at square one after that pathetic performance against the Badgers. Man it was bad.

Part of the problem is that unlike Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, and some other college teams, we've got a lot of professional stick and ball sports up here to compete for the fan's dollars. (Twins, Vikings, Timberwolves, and the Wild, to name a few. That's a lot of teams for a middle sized metropolis.) A lot of prime top level players prefer to go to a school in a smaller market, like the ones I mentioned, and be the big fish in a small pond.

I don't know about that Michigan is basically in a suburb of Detroit (just don't tell the Ann Arbor people they get all upity :) ) and we still get the best of the best here.
