Something wrong with the clocks at Gatornationals?

First qual session.
660 ft , 1/8 mile speed
104.35 mph.
1,000 ft speed 325.77 mph.

That is quite the gain in the last part of the run.

Stuff happens on any given lap. If it happened on several laps in a row, then we have something to complain about. A sample size of one might as well be zero, they are basically statistically the same.

And I am sure NHRA would be the first to try to fix it if there was an issue (which we have seen by all of the other laps today, there is NOT an issue). It's not like they want them going down the track with inaccurate numbers.

No there is not a problem with the clocks.

Hector missed the first 60 feet and took the long way to the finish line, probably built up a lot more wheel speed.

No .60s in Top Fuel and no .80s in Funny Car? It's not that warm down there.

I would say based on the amount of sportsman cars that have crashed last weekend and this weekend, maybe the track isn't that good.
